Catch of the Month: May 2008

Larry. After several years in telecommunications, Larry has embarked on a new career as a therapist. He enjoys cooking, and is looking for someone who will do the dishes after dinner. Although he works hard, he strives to find a balance between work and play. Born and raised in Southern California, he makes his home near West Hollywood.

In his own words: I've been in California since grade school. My mom's a westerner who hails from Montana and my dad came from Italy. I've spent most of my life in California but have traveled quite a bit. I studied math way back when and spent way too many laboring years as software engineer and telecom salesman. I found that work way too dry for me. I went back to school and got my second master in psychology and am just about licensed as a psychotherapist. I've been studying Buddhism the last few years and going to a few retreats each year; which has deeply influence my life and on my work as a therapist. I live in West LA in my 1920's California Spanish revival building with my cat. I grew up here, but I love Italy and have a bit of Latin heart. I love art, music, languages, performance art (particularly as the artist), food, Yoga, wit, and politics. I have an independent streak but am open and available - fun to be with, enjoy doing varied stuff, have a very low tolerance with meaningless chitchat, but really thrive on good conversation. Have opinion about much but open to listen and change my mind. I tend to be supportive and expressive and look for that in guy.
